Finally I know VEGAS I am just now posting about this. We did have a lot of fun, and I wish that I took a lot more pictures, I guess you could say that's just not me, sorry! Let me back a little a give you a back ground on why VEGAS. Bryce is a hard one to by for for Christmas, bet no one else s husband are hard to buy for but mine is. I decided on tickets to go see George Strait in Concert at the MGM. A little getaway for the two of us with no kids. Sounded great at the time but little did I know how hard it was going to be to leave my kids. They were in good hand with Bryce's parents and they barely missed us, but little old mommy had to call them a least twice a day.

We stayed at a place on the stripe about 6 miles down called Grandview. They are buildings of condo's with people that have time shares. Bryce's grandparents were nice enough to let us use there last call feature on there timeshare and we were able to get this pretty little suit on the 21 floor.

Our kitchen had granite counter tops and black appliances. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, plates, can openers anything you needed. Since we were planning on staying for a week we picked up some groceries and made a lot of meals there in our condo.

the dinning living area. Since we were on the top floor we had an awesome view.

We did get a chance to use the pool and hot tub, it was very relaxing

of course you have to take a picture in front of the sign. It was so cold that night can't you tell

We got into Vegas on Friday, Saturday we got up LATE, I think it was the first time in 3 years I wasn't woken up by my kids, it was nice!!! Bryce made me Breakfast in bed, he is an excellent omelet maker. Before we could get downtown I found a outlet mall, Bryce was in trouble and we shopped for awhile. We then went back to the condo ate got ready for the concert and headed down to the MGM.

HINT HINT: for anyone who has not been to VEGAS, the parking garages at the hotels are about as big as REXURG, we got lost in the parking garage. By the time we made it into the hotel and walked around a bit it was time for the concert and what a good concert it was.

my man

my other man, tee hee!!

LeeAnn Womack was the first performer, she did an awesome job.

Then came the Legendary REBA, she was very entertaining, and man she really does have RED hair. I know my picture our out of order but lastly was KING George!! The concert lasted about 4 hours, well worth the money. We also had really good seats, row 8.

On a funny note, there was a man that during the intermission between Reba and George decided that he was going to start the wave. Mined you the Garden arena seats about 20 thousand people, a very ambitious goal, but it worked and he had EVERYONE in that arena doing the wave it was hilarious.

Another funny story; There was a lady sitting next to me that told me before the concert started, "just to let you know George is my MAN," well it showed she was up dancing the whole time screaming and jumping up and down, I felt bad for her husband!!! There was a group of very drunk couples behind us having equally as much fun. At one point George sang is very popular song, "How Bout Them Cowgirls," when he got to that chorus the camera would focus on a group of girls in the audiunce, they would then broadcast it on the Jumbo-tron. the was that the group around me was acting I knew they were going to get on the Jumbo-tron and of course I was going to help them make that happen. there is nothing worse than being on screen with people going nuts around you, and you are just sitting there like a bump on a log. So I handed the camera to Bryce told him to get it ready to video me on the jumbo-tron, I stood up and made a fool of myself, (which isn't hard to do) and wouldn't you know it we made it onto the jumbo-tron at the George Strait concert, or course Bryce missed the picture, it took right as our picture went away, oh well, it was still fun.

before the concert we walked around the stripe, this guy was playing with fire, not the craziest thing we witnessed.

us right before the concert

Looks like Paris huh, Sunday, SHHHHHHH, we skipped church and walked around the stripe. Surprisingly when the Super Bowl started there was no one on the stripe.

Monday we did more shopping and then decided why not catch another show. Bryce and I liked this group called the Jabbawockeez on america's best dance crew and thought it would be fun to see them perform. they are a group of very talented dancers that perform hip hop with masks on. They were amazing and we really enjoyed watching them.

On Monday we decided to go to the Hoover Dam, one word AMAZING!!!

the new bridge at the Hoover Dam

I did celebrate my 30th Birthday in Vegas. It was fun, Bryce made me Breakfast, we went shopping, and ate at my two favorite places, Ihop, and Panda Express. It was very low key but fun.

Over all we had a good time, I would definitely go back and I would for sure stay in the same place
